Schools and Community Groups

Jersey Overseas Aid is passionate about working with schools on the island to help inspire the next generation to engage with global issues.

In 2025, Jersey Overseas Aid (JOA) successfully engaged over 1,500 students across Jersey through dynamic talks and presentations at primary schools, secondary schools, and youth clubs. Our team, along with guest speakers from organisations such as Heifer International, CBM, and HelpAge International, delivered sessions on a range of global topics. These included JOA’s ongoing development projects, humanitarian relief efforts, and the Sustainable Development Goals.

If your school or youth group is interested in inspiring young people to engage with global issues, we’d love to visit for a workshop or presentation.

Please do get in touch with us at enquiries@joa.je or call +44 1534 446901.
